Background:
In February 2023, our customer from Ireland, Mr. Keenan, contacted us with a request for a production line capable of cleaning, drying, and packaging seaweed. During seaweed harvesting, the roots often get tangled in rocks, causing stones to inevitably mix in with the seaweed. While workers try to avoid this, it’s impossible to eliminate all stones, and this became a challenge for the customer.
Challenge and Solution:
The biggest challenge in this project was removing the stones. To help the customer overcome this issue, we designed an efficient production line that effectively cleans and removes stones and impurities from the seaweed. The entire production line includes sorting lines, bubble cleaning machines, crushers, screening machines, dryers, and packaging machines, ensuring that each batch of seaweed meets high standards for cleanliness, stone removal, drying, and packaging. This solution not only improved production efficiency but also reduced energy consumption.
Customer Visit and Order Confirmation:
In November 2024, Mr. Keenan personally visited the Joyshine factory. After learning about our equipment and solutions in detail, he was very impressed with the design and quality, and immediately confirmed the order to purchase the production line.
Future Collaboration:
Sean mentioned that there will be more opportunities for collaboration in the future, especially in the seaweed processing sector. We look forward to building a long-term partnership with him and helping his seaweed business grow even larger.
